Counterfeiting is damaging legitimate business; cheating consumers and potentially dangerous. SNB-REACT is a business association of all the well known brands, investigating and taking legal actions against counterfeit traders. To this end a close cooperation with the national and International enforcement authorities has been established.

SNB-REACT has its headquarters in Amsterdam and branch offices in Milan, Lisbon, Vilnius, Skopje and Istanbul; agencies in Prague and Madrid and joint ventures for Austria, Germany, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. It is operational in almost all European countries either through its own offices, agencies or with external partners. Continuously, SNB-REACT is working on the further extension of its activities.

Although our services vary from country to country depending on the national legislations and procedures, they all have a clear common objective.

This means that in every country covered by the network we are able to organise raids and perform the basic legal formalities at short notice and at low rates.

SNB-REACT members cooperate intensively with the law enforcement authorities; this could be either customs, police, market inspectors …. To serve their needs and enhance their effectiveness in the anti counterfeiting work, a specific organisation has been set up: the IPR Business Partnership. Through this partnership all kinds of technicall assistanc activities for enforcement authorities have been developed. The IPR Business Partnership cooperates with national authorities but also with important International bodies like the WIPO and UNECE.

SNB-REACT focuses on customs protection. Customs intervention against infringements of industrial property is an extremely cost effective and efficient method of protection against counterfeit goods.
